Hi, I’m Kesia — esthetician, recruiting manager, and coach. Over the past decade, I’ve seen every side of this industry: working in the treatment room, managing spa teams, and hiring nearly 1,000 estheticians for growing skincare brands. I know what it feels like to be just starting out, unsure of the next step, and I also know what it takes to stand out, get hired, and build a long-term career you love.
My Journey:
I started as a licensed esthetician with a passion for skincare and self-care, but I quickly realized the beauty industry can be overwhelming to navigate. There wasn’t a clear roadmap, and many talented estheticians were getting overlooked simply because they didn’t know how to present themselves or where to find the right opportunities.
That led me into management and eventually recruiting. At Heyday, I built pipelines for new spas, supported hiring managers, and developed systems to help businesses grow their teams quickly and effectively. Along the way, I became the go-to person for estheticians who wanted honest feedback, resume help, and interview prep.
Why I Started Esthetics Expanded:
After years of coaching estheticians informally, I realized this industry needed a dedicated space where beauty professionals could access career guidance, resources, and community support. That’s where Esthetics Expanded was born.
